Lifeplan Kayak & Outdoor Life – sea kayaks and innovative outdoor equipment
At Lifeplan Kajak & Friluftsliv we are very interested in sea kayaking, teaching & guided tours in Svendborg & the South Funen Archipelago.
We love the good times outdoors with high to the sky and the equipment in order.
We have especially fallen for the compact and really practical solutions for getting on the water with e.g.
in a kayak or canoe.
When we say compact & practical, we mean solutions that make it easier to transport and get to the cool places with equipment that otherwise often causes a lot of trouble.
For example, it’s quite difficult to get to remote destinations with your fully molded plastic, fiberglass or carbon fiber canoe or kayak.
Often you have to rent second-rate equipment that you don’t know the standard or quality of.
It’s over!
Many experienced kayakers are probably familiar with Point 65 ͦ n’s kayaks, especially the older models made of composite materials such as fiberglass and carbon.
But Point 65 ͦ n has taken a stand and stopped all production of composite kayaks for the sake of the environment and boaters’ health during the manufacturing process.
The innovative shift in production to polyethylene kayaks is now 100% clean and the kayaks can be recycled after use http://www.outsidesweden.se/point-65-sweden-slutar-helt-med-kompositkajaker-och-satsar-pa-atervinningsbara-plastkajaker/
With the origami, modular & folding concept, you can fold your canoe or kayak to suitcase size and easily transport it by bike, car, train or plane!
Of course, we also have other common full-size kayaks, such as the very popular Swedish-made Point 65 ͦ n models.
the very popular Swedish-made Point 65 ͦ n models.
Point 65 ͦ n has established itself in the kayak market in collaboration with kayaking legend Nigel Foster and together they have developed the very popular and unique sea kayak Whisky 16 Rocker in different versions and colors.
Point 65 ͦ n has also developed, if not foldable kayaks, then at least modular kayaks that can be disassembled to take up much less space when transported.
Take a look at the Point 65 ͦ n Mercury GTX models, which can also be put together to form a tandem kayak or for even more people.
The third and final principle, the folding principle, is represented by the Canadian-made TRAK 2.0, which is based on the Inuit principle of a skin-covered frame, developed over more than 5000 years!
TRAK has developed a very innovative modern version where the frame is built from several aluminum tubes covered with a super strong polyurethane-coated nylon fabric.
The kayak has the same characteristics as a Greenlandic kayak, can be loaded with gear for expeditions and still pack down to suitcase size for transportation by car, bus, train or plane.
Another innovative feature of the TRAK kayak is the 3 hydraulic manually operated pumps that not only tension the canvas tightly but also control the shape of the kayak during rowing.
If you want the kayak to cut with the full hull for better directional stability, you can lower the bow and stern to extend the keel of the hull.
If you want to be able to turn and maneuver the kayak, you simply raise the bow and stern with the pump, which gives the kayak a more significant jump and makes the kayak more suitable for play.
Our sincere hope is that you will enjoy the many exciting and innovative products available here in the shop and should you have any questions, comments or need a live demonstration of the products, please contact us and we will find a solution.
We are happy to come to outdoor events, summer gatherings, exhibitions, trade fairs and the like.
As long as there is someone who is interested in innovative outdoor equipment!
Sincerely
Frederik Laursen

What our customers say
"I have bought a sea kayak, IPP2 course and rented the fantastic Point 65 kayaks from Lifeplan Kajak og Fritidsliv - I can only highly recommend them.
The service, passion and professionalism are top notch and Frederik always gives lots of good advice and tells you how to get the best experiences in and around Svendborgsund.
They have the best instructors in Denmark, so my next course will also be here"
"I was with my family on a guided trip on a Monday evening in Svendborgsund with Frederik, one of Lifeplan Kayak & Outdoor Life's skilled instructors and guides. we rowed a nice trip of 5-6 kilometers close to the harbor and experienced the city from the water. Even though we were close to the city, we were lucky to see both porpoise, dolphin and seal on the same trip. I highly recommend Lifeplan Kayak & Outdoor Life if you are a beginner in sea kayaking".
"My boyfriend and I both took the IPP2 in sea kayaking at Lifeplan Kayak & Outdoor Life. We preferred this short course of only 16 hours from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon to joining a kayak club. We now enjoy being able to row around the South Funen Archipelago on our own and be able to save ourselves in case of an accident. We have now bought our own kayaks and really enjoy getting out on the water."
